Chicago North
​League Championship

The Chicago North League Championship is being held at Francis W. Parker School on Saturday, February 9th.

Please use Clark Street entrance (circle drive)

Arrival:
Teams should plan to arrive between 7:30 and 7:50   
The main entrance is on Clark, not Webster as in the school address.  Please enter through the main entrance. You may use the circle drive for drop off of your team and gear.  Buses should drop off on either Webster or Clark, but must not use the circle drive or the parking lot.


Team Roster and/or Paper Consent/Release Form Required at team check in.

Late Arrivals:  
If your team will not be able to arrived by 8:00 a.m., please let us know as soon as possible.   See event email for phone number or call the school directly at 773.353.3000

Early judging: 
Judging begins at 8:00am.  Teams with early judging times, please be at judging room by 7:50.  Judging schedules will be sent out as soon as they are available.  

Parking:
The parking situation is difficult in Lincoln Park. 
Where possible, please try to arrive via public transportation or drop off. 

Street parking:
Non-permit (free) parking is available along Lincoln Park West, Stockton, and Webster, and in neighborhoods but the spaces are limited.  Please note the times for most residential Zone restrictions start to be enforced around 6pm.

School lot:
The school has a small lot for faculty and staff on Webster Ave which will be reserved for competition volunteers.  After volunteers arrive, those spaces will be made available for team parking, but please limit your team to no more than one vehicle in that lot.  Absolutely no buses or oversized vehicles are permitted in this lot.

Paid parking:   
Metered parking available along Clark (2 to 3 hours) 
Lincoln Park Zoo parking lot is a short walk through the zoo. ($25/day)
There are a few pay lots close by, but they can be expensive.


Food and Lunch Options:
We will be taking team orders for Dominos pizza at check in.  
Large Pepperoni, Sausage or Cheese for $10/ea.  

There are also plenty of other dining options in the immediate vicinity of Parker along Clark St. and too many to list that will deliver to the school.

Judges Interview:
Presentations should be approximately 10 min. followed by a 5 min. Q&A by judges.  

Pit area:
In the pit area (3rd floor Draft Gym) each team will be provide with an 8ft table and an electrical outlet (extension).  A practice field will be available in the pit.

Safety Glasses Required in pit & at playing field
Bring enough for your team and any guests. 

Prepare for Robot and Field Inspection by doing team self inspection.
Please do your own inspections before arriving and queueing for inspections.  Bring you inspection sheets to competition inspection stations.
