SUBAQUATIC SOLUTIONS

Total Members

Francis W. Parker's Subaquatic Solutions is a diverse and multi-grade group! Our 2021-2022 team consists of creative, innovative, and open-minded individuals who love to experiment and learn. We meet Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays to work on our robot. During these times, Subaquatic Solutions brainstorms, designs, and engineers various elements of the robot to prepare for competitions. Our team puts in countless hours of hard work and effort every week, on our robot named "Wednesday", creating thrusters covers on 3-D printers, building a frame on a laser cutter, making props, soldering, and more, all to prepare for competition season beginning in mid-April!
OUR TEAM

ABOUT MATE AND OUR PHILOSOPHY
Subaquatic Solutions is an Underwater ROV (remotely operated vehicles) team partnered with MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education Center). MATE'S mission is to use marine technology to inspire and challenge students to learn and creatively apply STEM to solving real-world problems in a way that strengthens critical thinking, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

ABOUT SUBAQUATIC Solutions
Subaquatic Equations is mostly made up of students with no prior robotics experience! We all come from different creative thinking backgrounds, whether it be design, engineering or programming. ROV is an after school robotics team that started the 2017-18 school year. Our first competition took place on April 28th, 2018. We placed 1st in regionals in 2021, and made it to the  MATE ROV international competition in Tennessee that year.

We would love to hear from you!
