ABOUT MATE AND OUR PHILOSOPHY
Nautical Nonsense is an Underwater ROV (remotely operated vehicles) class partnered with MATE (Marine Advanced Technology Education Center). MATE'S mission is to use marine technology to inspire and challenge students to learn and creatively apply STEM to solving real-world problems in a way that strengthens critical thinking, collaboration, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

ABOUT NAUTICAL NONSENSE
Nautical Nonsense is made up of 8 students with no prior robotics experience! We all come from different creative thinking backgrounds, whether it be design or programming. ROV is a second semester class that started the 2017-18 school year.Our first competition took place on April 28th, 2018. Nautical Nonsense placed 8th out of 27 teams competing in the RANGER level.
